motion foot. We get your tension set and begin meander and
types of stipple quilting. We cover topics of threads, needles
and battings that are appropriate to use. Other techniques will
be introduced as time allows. |

foot. We set stitch length, stitch in the ditch and outline

Battings, Threads & Needles
Bring your battings, threads and needles to see
what you can use and what should be “set aside”. Pat covers
those that are best to use for hand or machine quilting, piecing
and appliqué. |

Fusible Appliqué
Bring a minimum amount of supplies to create a
small wall hanging. Pat will cover different types of fusible
products and their recommended applications. |

Thread Painting
Begin with a fabric motif- a flower, animal, etc.
Then choose threads in any color. Learn how to turn these
threads into paint by using your sewing machine needle as a
paint brush. “Playing” with the free motion of your machine, you
will create a thread painted appliqué that can be used for
clothing or on a wall hanging. We will cover tips & hints on
needles, stabilizers and decorative threads. |

Have fun creating a piece of lace with leftover
decorative threads and a special stabilizer. Using the free
motion of your machine, you will create a piece of lace that can
be used for embellishments on quilts or clothing. We will cover
tips & hints on needles, stabilizers and decorative threads.
