Double Wedding Ring is one of the most
difficult patterns to tackle and an
old time favorite. This wall hanging is made with sweet pink, blue, aqua
and
burgundy fabrics that include a unique hand marbled fabric. Pat has
added
some of her specialty free hand quilting to spark the centers of the
rings.
The quilt top was originally a "Double Wedding Ring" class sample.
It was finally quilted and completed in 2009, ready to go to a loving
owner.

batik and custom machine quilted.

is surrounded by a complimenting Asian inspired large floral print. Pat
created and arranged the pattern of coordinating fabrics to replicate a
shoji screen. The deep rich colors of teal, purple, green, olive and
black are accented with gold.
Quilted with an overall "Popcorn" pattern in teal blue thread, this wall
hanging would be the perfect focal point in any room.
