Landscape quilts can be custom ordered. If you have a favorite vacation spot, photo from a trip or photo of your prize garden, I can create an everlasting fabric landscape just for you. Landscapes make great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries etc. Landscapes can be edited to make them “picture perfect”. Any undesirable features can be deleted, like mailboxes, power lines, dead foliage, etc. Photographs can be cropped to include only the portion that you like. You specify the finished size and colors to match your home décor. Photographs will be returned in original condition. All correspondence can be done via e-mail, snail mail and/or telephone. Lake Huron Taken from a photograph, this
wall hanging was made with fine quilter’s cotton blend lame,
fringed fabric to look like sea grasses and an abundance of
thread painting to add detail. Private collection. |

Sunset on Lake Nicatous This wall
hanging was created from a photograph taken by Pamela Miela.
Several techniques were used including fabric painting, thread
painting and layered netting to create light and shadows. Just
the right border fabric to surround the piece gives it a woodsy
island feel. This wall hanging received “Viewer’s Choice-Wall
Hanging ” in the “Thread City Festival of quilts 2001”sponsored
by Quilter’s Dream, Willimantic, CT. |

On the Road to Recovery This wall hanging spilled forth from my imagination after being asked to create a peaceful mountain setting for “Killingly Office of Eastern CT. Rehabilitation Services” in Dayville CT. It was my hope that therapy patients would be viewing this as if they were leaving the woods and looking down the road to a wonderful place to go to.
