Lava Bubbles 16” x 13” 8-2016
After experimenting with bright and vivid color alcohol inks on Yupo paper, I tried them on fabric with no success. So I decided to print the two original Yupo pieces onto fabric which worked very well. After slicing each fabric print and re-arranging, they were then fused onto black fabric and quilted with matching color threads. Time consuming but worth the effort.
